Drop-in life drawing sessions in West London. We draw a different model each week to relaxing music. The class is run as untutored but help is at hand for those who request it. All ages and abilities, artists or beginners welcome. (I can also bring drawing workshops to your workplace). The classes were running before I put it on Meetup, so you'll need to join the mailing list that goes out to 350 artists, and ignore 'attending' numbers displayed here. Thanks, Becky.
There are no upcoming Meetups.
Hi Everyone, I have just received a text from the owner of the bar where we have the Meetup. He says the bar is being used as a venue for a film shoot from Sunday to Wednesday, and that he has just sold the bar so we have to cancel our meetups there for now. He apologises for last minute notice. I am talking to someone already about another venue. So please stay/join in the group if you'd like to hear about it. In the meantime, my other Life Drawing Group - PRIMROSE HILL LIFE DRAWING - is …

This is a great group for anyone interested in drawing urban or rural (there are more than you might think) landscapes, city landmarks and the human figure (generally clothed) in a variety of locations and situations. It's also great if you want to explore a bit of the city. Each week all the members of the group get together once all the drawing is over (usually in a pub) to decide where to go the following week. Locations range from touristic to obscure, and are often chosen based on what bas …
… Now, I maybe biased, but I believe that this is the ideal location for life drawing and Art classes, because of its beauty and tranquility. The Setting of the class: This is most exciting, because it's a bran new class, set in the back of the church in a huge hall with stained galass windows. The natural and artificial lighting is fabulous and the radiators radiate a lot of heat (when on), so our models can never complain of the cold. There is a kitchen with a shutter within the hall where l …

Life Drawing and Art Classes In Dulwich, South London The Dulwich Art Group organises life drawing and painting sessions which are open to people of all abilities. We tend not to call them Art Classes as with no formal tutor, artists are free to pursue their own approach to painting or drawing. However if a student wishes to have guidance or direction there are plenty of members who will offer advice, some of whom are lifelong art educators. Looking over the shoulder of someone who appears to …

… Main focus of the group The main activitiy in the group is surprise, surprise, drawing! However, it's a bit more than that... We almost always go for a drink after a session and it's easy to get chatting with people and to make connections. So... it's a CLUB!!! A bit more than just drop in sessions. This is a special group and it's going places. What kind of drawing? Dynamic and gestural figure drawing. Opportunity to draw or photograph a model in action and in character poses. Q …
Graduated as a Teacher of Art in 1998, teaching Life Drawing to adults for over four years, with 6 years experience of teaching adults in total. Initially, I set up the group in Crystal Palace because there was nowhere else to meet and to draw from the figure. The class consists of artists with or without experience. Others have developed a recent interest. This is mainly a drop in class and an opportunity for people to make use of a large open space with lots of natural light. Additionally, my …
